Our Story

How We Met

If you didn't already know, we met the (new) old fashioned way— by swiping right! While the world was slowly coming out of lockdown, we said yes to a socially distanced, masked-up first date. Luckily, Peyton was the only 6 foot tall Indian guy waiting at The Vig so he was easy to spot. It took almost a month for us to go on a second date due to a case of Covid, but patience ensued and the rest was history.

The Proposal

Peyton popped the big question on a trip to Pinetop with Brittany's family. It was an intimate proposal on the balcony followed by a toast to commemorate.

Wedding Party

Lauren

Lauren Medina

Lauren is Brittany's older sister and best friend. They've survived the many stages of sisterhood and share a bond that is thicker than thieves. Lauren is adored by all who know her and is the most loyal person on the planet.
Ruben

Ruben Nunez

Ruben has been the older brother figure in Peyton’s life and has been looking out for him since he was eight years old. Peyton followed Ruben around any chance he got, whether Ruben wanted him to or not, and his adolescent years are filled with fond memories because of their friendship.
Sheena arch

Sheena West

Sheena is one of Brittany's oldest and dearest friends. They met as teenagers working the opening shift at their neighborhood coffee shop. Sheena is a boss babe, one-of-a-kind friend and the best hype woman a girl could ask for.
Pete

Peter Tarrant

Peyton and Peter met while working at Henry’s on the Beach in Cape May and have remained close ever since. They share a love for sports (though some of their favorite teams are bitter rivals), music (Peyton introduced Peter to several bands and artists before they got big), and the beach.
Laura

Laura Zelasko

Laura and Brittany met over a decade ago at their local church. They had an instant friendship and bonded over their love of crafting and party planning. Laura is a steadfast friend, top-notch hostess and a DIY queen.
Dj

DJ Kelly

Peyton and DJ’s bromance started when they met freshmen year at St. John’s University and have been the best of friends since. They were both resident assistants, in the same fraternity, and were always hanging out playing video games (DJ was usually losing), sports, or having a catch in the courtyard.
Carolyn

Carolyn Brown

Carolyn and Brittany met through Laura and also bonded over crafting and party planning. The three of them have been by each other's sides for life's biggest moments. Carolyn is thoughtful, always has great advice and a keen eye for details.
Alexis

Alexis Alfonso

Peyton and Alexis have known each other since second grade. Their friendship has grown over the gift/curse of loving Philly sports teams. They attended both championship parades for the Eagles and Phillies and hope to attend many more in the future.
Brooke

Brooke Medina

Brooke is Brittany's niece and the cutest 8 year old around. She has a big personality, kind heart and can make friends anywhere she goes. She loves coming up with funny stories, hanging out with her friends and her puppy Mochi.
Johnny

Johnny Dolan

Peyton was Johnny’s resident assistant at St. John’s University and apart from keeping him out of trouble, Peyton also convinced him to join his frat and not the pharmacy frat (you’re welcome, Johnny). They remained close over the years but rekindled their friendship when they both, unknowingly, moved to Phoenix 6 years ago. They explored a new city, met some new friends and made some unforgettable memories.
Dylan

Dylan Medina

Dylan is Brittany's nephew and the sweetest (but sometimes spiciest) guy in first grade. You know he's comfortable around you when you get to see his goofy side. He loves math, Pokemon and soup dumplings for breakfast.
Josh

Josh Glover

Peyton and Josh met in middle school and a simple question would spark a friendship that has spanned across many states and years. Josh has always been there through the good, bad, ugly, and embarrassing times. Even if they aren’t able to see each other regularly, they're always able to pick up where they left off.

We have compiled several options for lodging in Phoenix. We did not block out rooms given the large amount of lodging options available, so feel free to book a room where you feel most comfortable. February is a busy time of year in Phoenix so please be sure to book your accommodations sooner rather than later!
